Dimitry Francois MD, FAPA

Dr. Francois trained in psychiatry at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he served as Chief Resident, then completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Weill Cornell.

Dr. Francois is a master clinician who provides thoughtful, compassionate, respectful, and equitable care to all patients. Dr. Francois believes in helping and empowering his patients to improve their health in multiple interconnected biological, behavioral, social, and environmental areas. Dr. Francois oversees the care of all patients in the practice.

Sheera Gerber MSN, RN, PMH-BC, PMHNP-BC

Sheera is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The College of New Rochelle, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University.

Sheera provides comprehensive evaluations and psychiatric treatment plans for patients experiencing various difficulties, including mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders. Sheera builds and maintains a strong therapeutic relationship characterized by openness, genuineness, and awareness. 

Steve Velazquez MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC

Steve is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who delivers personalized and empathetic care that promotes emotional well-being. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of Mount Saint Vincent with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University.

Steve has a wide range of experience working with patients suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and sleep issues. He also has extensive knowledge of emergency psychiatric care.
